When the 281,000 member International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) sets out to make a Presidential endorsement, the one criterion they consider is the one they look for when putting their lives on the line in our communities: who can they trust to keep their team secure? IAFF General President Harold Schaitberger said it best as he announced the organization's 2008 Presidential endorsement: "Fire fighters want strong, proven leadership walking through that door. In 2008, we want Chris Dodd."
