Chris Dodd today released the following statement regarding the House's failed vote to override President Bush's veto of the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP).
"Today's vote in the House to uphold the President's shameful veto of the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) is yet another reminder of the consequences of disastrous priorities on the part of this White House. With the resources it takes to execute just over three months of the Iraq War, we could fully fund the expansion of health care for needy children that Bush vetoed."

Thanks Sen. Dodd! Save the 4th Amendment. Are you the only Senator upholding the oath you took to defend the Constitution?
I applaud your outspoken stance on this all important issue. It saddens me greatly that our other Democratic leaders have yet to start Impeachment proceedings. We do not have to wait for evidence, for God's sake, Nancy, there was none and Clinton's impeachment went forward. Thank you Chris Dodd for saying what needs to be said.
I agree with Pam, with one exception. The man admitted impeachable offenses to us on live TV. That "confession" was not coerced, he gave it freely, as though taunting us to do something about it.
I, too, am tired of the disappointment and disgust when Leadership caves and gives in to these bullies. Look at the daily indignities that air travelers succomb to for no good reason. 9/11 would not have happened at all (if you believe the "official" story), if the cockpit doors had been sealed. How long ago were the constant hi-jackings to Cuba? Now I view those as a very weird scenario, too.
Please support Dennis Kucinich in his motion to impeach Cheney first, then go for the puppet.
