The voice belonged to Harold Schaitberger, General President of the International Association of Fire Fighters, and they had just recently endorsed the eventual Democratic nominee for President of the United States.
Today, the 280,000 person organization of professional fire fighters and paramedics has endorsed it's candidate in the 2008 Democratic Primary -- signaling the beginning of a similar resurgence in Iowa, New Hampshire and across the country.
