Here's some additional coverage of Senator Dodd's speech
AmericaBlog breaks a story: Dodd won't join GOP filibuster of Warner anti-surge resolution
Jonathan Singer at MyDD: "He came off as a credible candidate, which he needed to do at this meeting. What's more, he showed that he can speak with fire." (Singer also noted the annoying internet outage, which has slowed your humble author's coverage)
Jerome Armstrong at MyDD: "That his first bill to congress would be to overturn the torture bill that was passed in 2006 is going to have some appeal."
Hotline on Call: "Overt Theme: Let's ignite the passion of the American people. We need to pay attention their dreams and aspirations. 'I'm am an optimist.'"
Maura at MyLeftNutmeg: I especially liked Dodd saying this: "Bipartisanship doesn't mean getting Democrats to agree with Republican principles; its about getting Republicans to agree with Democratic principles."

I watch all the candidates give there speech today. Maybe I am just sold out on Chris Dodd but he was by far the most inspiring and has the best vision for our country. I found my self standing up in front of my computer at work everytime the crowd stood and clapped for Senator Dodd's speech. He is by far the best choice for 2008 and I can see no one else even close.
