Endorsement

Blogger Spazeboy endorses Chris Dodd for President:

I Support Chris Dodd... Because Chris Dodd supports me.

As a blogger, Chris Dodd stood up for me when he went on the O’Reilly Factor to challenge Bill O’Reilly’s smearing of DailyKos and the Yearly Kos Convention.

As a member of MoveOn, Chris Dodd stood up for me as the only member of Connecticut’s Congressional Delegation to vote NO on condeming the organization for its paid advertisement.

As a student, Chris Dodd stood up for me with his education plan that calls for greater competition among loan providers, leading to lower loan interest rates.

As a citizen, Chris Dodd stood up for me when he stood up for the Constitution. He teamed up with Senator Pat Leahy to Restore Habeas. More recently, Chris Dodd placed a hold on the FISA Bill that if passed in its current state would give immunity to telecom companies who eagerly complied with the Bush Administration and handed over our telephone records. If Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid chooses to ignore the hold (as is speculated), Chris Dodd has pledged to filibuster the bill.

As a Connecticut Democrat and Ned Lamont supporter, Chris Dodd stood up for me when he stood up for Ned Lamont after he was chosen by a majority of Connecticut Democrats as their nominee for U.S. Senate last year

As you can see, Chris Dodd has earned my support. I am proud to formally declare my support for his Presidential run.

What a fantastic endorsement, one that makes so clear why Spazeboy -- and so many others -- are standing with Chris Dodd.

Ned Lamont on Why He Supports Chris Dodd

Spazeboy:
Ned Lamont came out to Chicago this past weekend for the YearlyKos convention — and he wasn’t running for anything. He came to support our Democratic Senator Chris Dodd at Saturday’s Presidential Forum and subsequent breakout session. So I asked him to tell me why it was so important for him to travel halfway across the country to support Chris Dodd. The video below is his response:

A Video Blogging "How-To"

As the number of views on Senator Dodd's YouTube Spotlight video grow by leaps and bounds, and as the number of video responses tick up as well, I wanted to remind everyone what our goal is with this video. Senator Dodd is asking you to contact your senators and ask them to support the Dodd Amendment to end our involvement in Iraq's civil war. Video tape your interactions and post them on YouTube. We'll link up to them on chrisdodd.com and help give everyone who participates a louder microphone to voice their opinion on this critical legislation. If you're not a polished video blogger, I HIGHLY recommend reading this handy introductory manual to video blogging authored by famed blogger and scholar, Connecticut's own Spazeboy. He walks you through everything you need to know to be ready to go talk to your senators and get them on the record with their position on the Dodd Amendment.
