Our Supporters Respond

Here are more notes from our supporters following yesterday's appeal for donations and comments as to why folks are supporting Chris Dodd for President. All of the comments below have been shared and posted on our front page through Twitter.

Martha in IA: Sen Dodd seems to be the only candidate that is as outraged as I am about the Bush adminstration's attacks on our Constitution
Sondra in MA: I know that you have both the experience and judgment to be an excellent President!
John in WI: I'm a fellow Returned Peace Corps volunteer [Uzbekistan 1995-98]. I applaud your call for national service, Senator Dodd - and not just the military. We know where we can do the most good for our country and the world, don't we, Senator?
Deirdra in CT: Thank you for your 30 years of efforts to keep Head Start solvent and for your many visits to Head Start centers all over America. We appreciate your hard work on this campaign and wish you a great day on January 3rd.
Robert in CA: Dear Senator Dodd, I want to thank you for being the only politician who will boldly and proudly stand for our eradicated Constitution, and its restoration. I will stand with you.
Jill in FL: You have a clear, definite stand on every issue. You seem to want the same things most of the people want.

For those that don't know, Twitter is a social networking site that allows people to share updates about themselves through short, SMS-sized messages. Senator Dodd has a Twitter account: http://twitter.com/ChrisDodd -- if you're a member of the Twitter community, add him as your friend. Through Senator Dodd's Twitter account, we're able to post updates on policy, campaign events, Senator Dodd's travel, and important votes. Some updates come from Senator Dodd, others come from our campaign staff -- but all are handily labeled "DODD" or "STAFF" so you know who's sending you the message. Most importantly, though, is how we're using Twitter in an unconventional way on chrisdodd.com. The front page of our site has a scrolling marquee of all the latest campaign updates from Twitter. We pull an RSS feed of the Chris Dodd Twitter account so visitors to the campaign site get the information put ou through Twitter, even if they don't realize that's what it is. Please sign up for Twitter and make Chris Dodd your friend today!
